o Sept 24– “Importance of a Healthy Pelvic Floor for All Ages”- Identification of the problem, prevention, and treatment options.
o Oct 29– “Breast health and the Resources to Stay Healthy”- Making sense of new guidelines, where to go for testing, and benefits of genetic testing.
o Nov 19– Lung Cancer Awareness Panel- Meet a panel of experts to discuss the latest data trends in lung cancer, treatment options, new and old environmental concerns.
Sessions will be held in the evenings from 6-7 p.m. on the Ground Floor of the Physician’s Plaza at 10030 Gilead Road and are free with registration.

UBS – The Stoner Group has invited Huntersville Chamber members to their offices on Tuesday, February 19th for a short presentation on Managing Uncertainty in today’s volatile market. Huntersville Chamber members will have the opportunity to meet other business owners in our usual format at the UBS offices at 16810 Kenton Drive, Suite 310 in Huntersville from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
North Carolina’s 12th Congressional District has been the home to many banks, textiles, department stores, small businesses, restaurant, farms and many more. With nearly one hundred plus constituents moving to our district daily, jobs have become more of a necessity than ever. U.S. Congresswoman Alma Adams’ staff is currently gathering a list of creditable employers who are offering living wages and have a great impact in our district.

The Community Career Fair will connect attendees with companies, and businesses that currently have jobs available. The goal is to impact unemployment by giving citizens access to information, jobs and a pathway to opportunity. We want to meet the unemployed with jobs with livable wages so that they may continue to take care and nurture their families.
For employers, there will also be a room available for career fair participants to conduct on site interviews.
