Lake Norman Community Sailing

Lake Norman Community Sailing offers sailing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and kayaking activities out of Blythe Landing park. With a fleet of more than 70 boats and a sailing fleet that includes Flying Scots, keelboats, Sunfish, 420s and Optis, the non-profit continues to add additional SUPs and kayaks.

Dedicated to providing affordable, accessible and safe sailing and waterfront opportunities on Lake Norman for adults and youth, the sailing center offers an extensive calendar of activities and also encourages prospective members to come try out the facilities and learn from existing members.

Lake Norman Sailing offers a yearly membership to the organization which avails members to sail year round! Classes, social sails, youth programs and volunteering opportunities are all great ways to become a part of an active outdoor group of people.
